A black tie luxury wedding at Grantley Hall

Well what can i say about Grantley Hall. WOW would be one word. Grantley Hall is a hidden jewel found in the Yorkshire Dales, offering 47 exquisite bedrooms, five indulgent restaurants, including Michelin-starred Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall. A truly impressive wedding venue and Ella and Aaron certainly looked the part too in a gorgeous wedding dress and black tie suit. Classic and Timeless.

I started this Grantley Hall wedding very early in the morning capturing photo and film of the venue as I was producing a highlight film for this wedding alongside the photography.  The weather was a bit sketchy with drizzle and was on/off most of the morning until Ella and Aaron exited the church when the sun decided to make a full appearance for the rest of the day and even treated us to a lush golden hour later in the day. Anyway i digress back to the morning.

Ella and the girls were getting ready in the Presidential Suite – Bloody gorgeous. Very classy and elegant and we spent a very relaxed morning for preparations before heading off to church just a few miles away in a neighbouring village.

Upon our return from church to Grantley Hall guests were invited into the beautiful Orchard marquee with great detailing in orchard trees with oranges, yellow bicycles and more lush detailing to make the space feel really Italian, that was the vibes i got anyway. After everyone ate the wonderful wedding breakfast I took Ella and Aaron for a few more portraits as I had planned out when Golden Hour was happening and boy did it turn up. With some planning, skill and bit of luck in terms of the sun we nailed the golden hour photos at Grantley Hall, see below. To die for.

We partied the rest of the night with awesome Dj Mark Green brining the vibe and energy, all of which was captured on photo and film before heading home. A long 17 hour day for me but i wouldn’t have it any other way. A real pleasure to be part of this Grantley Hall wedding with Ella and Aaron and I’m eternally grateful they chose me to document their day at Grantley Hall.
