A rustic wedding at Healey Barn with Gabby + Elliott
I’ve looked forward to documenting Gabby and Elliots big day for some time. I’ve known elliot for years as he is also in the wedding industry and provides brides and grooms with transport on their big day in the shape of a beautiful VW Camper Van. It’s LUSH and so is Elliot.
The first time we met was at Hallgarth Manor in Durham (now 61 Durham). We were recommended suppliers attending the wedding showcase and got on great. Elliot is just a really nice lad and so down to earth and Im honestly so happy to see him marry Gabby who is equally awesome and together they are just the perfect pair. Love them to bits. Wish i saw more of them, always lovely to bump into Elliot at a wedding
Healey Barn was the one for Gabby and Elliot and having photographed Healey Barn many times over the years it truly is a lush venue with so much to offer. The food is awesome too and the staff are always super lovely. The Cripps and Co brand really know how to operate a kick-ass wedding venue. I’ve also shot a cool wedding at the O.G venue; Cripps Barn in the Cotswolds. Super LUSH.
Gabby and Elliot’s day had so much goodness, great to see Beth as a bridesmaid as I photographed her wedding a couple years back, always nice to see past brides. Gabby’s dad even brought a tear to my eye during the speech. As a dad myself I often think about my own daughters wedding one day, walking her down the aisle, father-daughter dance etc. But Gabby’s dad said something during the speech that choked me up a bit. He said “every now again as we’re walking down the street, I’ll just grab her hand and for that split second she’s my little girl again” – WELL… It just made me think of my Elodie – they do grow up so quick and one day she wont be my little girl. Properly got me in the feels. Probably count on one hand the times i’ve got emotional at a speech – well done.
Elliot and Gabby continue to be F**king awesome and I love you both. See you at a wedding soon Elliot!
