A luxury autumnal wedding at Middleton Lodge Fig House
A Middleton Lodge wedding was always a venue I wanted to shoot at and when Chloe and Dan booked me I was so glad to be available. Middleton Lodge looks amazing and in this instance Chloe and Dan chose the perfection of the Fig House at Middleton Lodge.
I started my day at Chloe and Dan’s home for preparations and then myself and dan (@wewerehereuk – Video) made our way to Middleton to document the venue, the details and prepare for the girls arrival. As always the staff and co-ordinators at Middleton Lodge are ridiculous – ridiculously good that is. Everything is on point and well managed. It was super awesome to work with Josie too who performed their beautiful wedding ceremony.
Some of the key highlights for me on the day were Chloe and her dad’s first look reveal. So nice especially with the girls in the background watching on. beautiful moment. I also loved the atmosphere of the party later on in the evening. Staying until 11pm for this wedding really allowed me to soak it all in and of course capture the carnage of the dance floor. To say Dan (groom) was lively would be an understatement; he wouldn’t look out of place in a mosh pit.
“We couldn’t have asked for more perfect pictures. You made us both feel so comfortable and we cant thank you enough. Also, who knew we would receive more compliments on you than quite possible anything else! To say we made the right decision was an understatement, you looked after us from start to finish. On the day you were great, never once did we think we had a photographer at the wedding but just another member of the wedding party. After receiving our gallery through, we had high expectations, but the results are even better than we could have ever expected! Can’t recommend you enough!”
