A red hot summers day at Newton Hall for Elle and Ashley
Newton Hall is always a favourite so when it came to Elle and Ashley’s wedding I was really looking forward to it. The weather was absolutely perfect too.
Let me start by saying I had one of the best days ever, Elle, Ashley and their friends are in a word ‘crazy’ haha – we laughed so much through the day and it just felt like being surrounded by my own friends which is perfect. I hope you enjoy looking through some of the images below.
Hosting a Newton Hall Wedding?
Newton Hall is an absolutely stunning venue for a wedding, and if you’re lucky enough to be getting married there, you’re in for a treat! The hall itself is beautiful, and the grounds are perfect for any kind of wedding photos you might want. Plus, the team at Newton Hall are absolute professionals when it comes to weddings – they’ll make sure your day goes off without a hitch!
“Well, where to start with Ray-Ray. Obviously when it comes to weddings, usually you put on a pretty dress (or suit), you clap, drink all of the drink and wish the bride and groom the best in their life together. However, when it comes to your own wedding- it’s nerve wracking. You worry about if your hair looks good, your tan, nails, DRESS. Is the groom actually ready or will he be late as always? Will the guests enjoy the day? Will the weather be nice? etc.
No matter what went on that day, Ray was not only the photographer of the day, but a genuine friend and someone who helped calm nerves (for everyone). As well as document my whole day from early in the morning to my first dance, he was there to always crack jokes at those times I needed them the most, asked if I needed anything whilst i was getting ready and was a happy person to be around on the most nerve wracking day of my life, which i needed.
As I worried so much about all of the above, Ray showed some sneak-peaks of pictures he had taken, myself and my husband, were absolutely blown away! The colours, the angles, the strategies – it portrays his love and passion for photography. Ray knew exactly what he was doing whilst being very patient and friendly. My family and friends had nothing but the best words to say for Ray. “No way is he your photographer?” – “He’s literally the funniest person I met!” – The list goes on.
My point is, if you want a cool, ginger, talented, passionate, funny, friendly, confident, exciting, creative, hardworking, inspiring, organised (can’t have too much of that), beautiful photographer that has a key eye for details and can bring your vision to life – I would highly recommend this man. Thank you Ray for being part of the family for a day, couldn’t imagine my Newton Hall wedding without you.”
