A black tie boho vibe at Runa Farm

Ami and Daniels Runa Farm wedding was such a great day. It was bucketing down with rain on the drive over to Runa Farm from my home but thankfully the weather gods looked down us and the blue sky broke through along with some much welcomed march sunshine. Glorious. I have to say Ami and Dan looked chic and classy, dan was rocking a blue velvet black tie suit which just popped. Great choice and Ami’s dress just looked incredible. She is a stunning bride and the portraits just look so nice, check them out below.

One of Ami’s requests was to get plenty shots of her daughter Matilda. I don’t think i have included any on this blog post but there was plenty. Her little meltdown at the start of the ceremony was iconic and unfortunately had to be removed. Bless her. Its a lot to deal with for young toddlers. She came back near the end of the ceremony though and was good as gold. She even rocked the dance floor in the evening. Nice memories for Ami and Dan.

One of the key highlights was the surprise for Dan during the wedding breakfast, no sooner has the main meals been cleared when Chris and Michaela broke out in song. Gotta love the singing waiters bringing the party. Always gets people up swinging napkins, dancing on tables. makes for some great photographs. Ami is a pretty good singer in her own right, so naturally busted out some of the songs on the microphone. No Celine Dion songs which are her favourite but ‘Free from Desire’ was just as good and high tempo. Love it.

Having spent the day with Ami and Dan at Runa Farm with their friends and family i can say it was a true pleasure. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Thank you to Ami and Dan for choosing me to document your wedding day x Big love x
