A beautiful visit to Wales and Soughton Hall

I was pretty excited when Emily and Connor booked me for their wedding in Wales. I’ve never been. Well thats changed, hasn’t it. Just inside the welsh border near the town of Mold so not super far into Wales. I’ll have to go back with the family and see snowdonia national park etc. Wales has a-lot to see.

Anyway onto the wedding haha. As I drove down to Wales the day before the wedding, it absolutely bucketed down with rain and i was a bit sceptical of the weather for the wedding. The positive; if it rains heavy the day before the wedding, the wedding day is usually fine as the weather system has cleared itself out and thats exactly what happened.

As I drove down the long driveway at Soughton Hall on a fresh early spring morning the view in front of me was quite blue and cold BUT as the day progressed the sun burst through and it actually got quite warm which was perfect for coming back from a beautiful church ceremony to having drinks and canapés outside. It felt like the real first taste of spring; being able to stay outside in the sunshine was fab and everyone had a great time.

Emily deserves a mention for her THREE dresses. Yep Three. ha-ha. What a legend. She looked stunning all day, see below. Her evening party dress was pretty cool, check out the paparazzi style shot as she came down the stairs.

Emily and Connor were just awesome and all the staff at Soughton Hall were so friendly and I really enjoyed the day. Erin was such a lovely co-ordinator to work with too. Emily and Connor if your reading this, thank you so much for having me be part of your day, it was an honour and I had such a good time with you both, your friends and family. I look forward to visiting Wales again and Soughton Hall.
