Jessica and Jordan live in Dubai and flew to the UK for their South Causey Wedding Party with friends and family. Having had their main wedding back in Dubai there was no need for a ceremony here in the UK it was much more about the party, the hugs, the emotions, the laughter and the outrageous dance floor, more on that later.
I’ve documented a tonne of weddings at The South Causey Inn and know the staff really well and often talk to the owners Phil and Susan when there too, big shout out to Harriet their daughter who also works there as its a family run business.
Harriet is my go to when sending images for their marketing and it’s always super nice they always push my work on their Instagram. Always appreciated, anyway I digress, back to this South Causey Wedding Party.
So I was mentioning the staff as it was Dean (sadly he has left now) who sent me Jessica and Jordans details as he was arranging the wedding in the initial stages as the couple were obviously in Dubai. So thanks to Dean for putting me forward for the job.
On the day though the wonderful Andrew co-ordinated the day fabulously as he always does and the day went perfect, it was certainly a South Causey Wedding Party to remember!
We started with a welcome reveal with all the guests at the base of the steps as the couple were announced outside for the first time in their wedding attire, there was a massive applause and the odd wolf whistle.
We then moved into a cosy drinks reception, some group portraits and couple portraits before sitting down for speeches, the meal and then the inevitable carnage of the dance floor. The entire day was just brilliant and I really loved spending time with everyone and felt so welcome. thank you Jessica and Jordan.

“Ray is just THE BEST!! We live in Dubai and were coming home for a south causey wedding party that needed to capture the special but crazy moments with family that couldn’t make the Dubai wedding – Ray did just that! He was so accommodating, from meeting us months in advance due to the timings of our trips home, to being so helpful through email and whatsapp, to zooming us when we needed reassuring! All of our family and friends commented on how funny and just down to earth Ray was on the day. We all felt truely relaxed and comfortable around him, wouldn’t recommend anyone else! Plus we got some previews the next day, even around Christmas time!! The best in the business!! We can’t thank you enough!!”
