Santorini wedding vibes at Woodhill Hall!

I’m just gonna say it, bloody fantastic! Thats what this wedding was, so many highlights, we’ll get to that though. A Woodhill Hall wedding always looks great, the foods amazing and the staff are lush but when the sunshine hits right like it did on Koren and Josh’s day, it was just perfect.

I think you will agree Koren looked incredible – I’m a proper sucker for a dress with sleeves haha. Sleeves are my vibe i’ve figured out over the past 2 years haha – Blue Bow Bridal if your loving her dress and want to have it or something similar. Koren with her height could have been mistaking for a model but I can assure you this was a real wedding and not a workshop.

There was plenty of goodness at the wedding which would have looked great on a workshop mind you, the tables and flowers for example were out of this world with colour co-ordinated napkins and candles – beautiful pastels – it was a visual feast. absolutely nailed it.

Not to mention it was all set-up in the newly extended orangery at Woodhill which really did look fantastic – I commented it looked like it had always been there. The extra few meters either side of the orangery has really made it a brilliant open space for the wedding breakfast. So much beautiful natural light.

It was great to see Cheryl from Wishbone Weddings who brought along the ever so chilled Poirot – always lush to see a family dog make the wedding. Also so nice to see some great industry friends in Matt Case and Wayne both smashing the Sax vibes, Claire Alexandra on Hair and Tara Shenton on Makeup always crushing it and finally super nice to work with Gareth all the way from Cheshire who was nailing the Super 8 Film. Super 8 film sounds so nice when its recording ha-ha.

One of the highlights for me other than the perfect ceremony in the olive house, the beautiful confetti throw, the gloriously candid authentic moments or the damn right filthy dance moves was the surprise movie put together by Koren’s sister and father. They went to town on this thing, production value through the roof haha. I’m talking an opening scene of Kineta (sister) running across what looked like a Dam filmed from a drone, dressed as a reporter.

They used to dress up as a reporter as kids and make videos, i think they called the ‘reporter’ Roger McDonald. I think – It was something like that haha. Kineta then comes on screen as the reporter, drawn on beard and everything – it was brilliant with live cut scenes like on an actual news report but it was Romesh Ranganathan and a few other celebrities videos. unforgettable scenes. Well done Kineta and Dad.

Below are some of my favourite moments from Koren and Josh’s Woodhill Hall Wedding. Have fun!

“Ray is perhaps the best find of our entire wedding. He fitted in like one of the guests with a fantastic sense of humour and such a beautiful attention to detail. The photos are incredible showing each emotion of the whole day – even the questionable dance moves at night. Thank you Ray for making it so perfect – the BEST uk wedding photographer hands down
