Lorna and Anthony’s Wylam Brewery Wedding was so nice, right in the heart of Newcastle. Wylam Brewery provides a unique vibe with vast spaces, exposed brickwork and a working brewery/taproom hence the name. Lorna started the day with family and bridesmaids setting up the space as they envisioned with the help of the Wylam Brewery team who are always excellent and ready to go above and beyond.
The day was intimate and cosy with their close family and friends and held their ceremony in the beautiful alcoves to the front of the building with some beautiful light from the windows. The day went so quick, staying late as I always do with my weddings I captured the carnage of the dance floor, there was even a guy who had some serious snake hips, wouldn’t look out of place on strictly to be fair.
I loved how relaxed Lorna and Anthony were and that resonated throughout the wedding. Quick mention to the grazing sharing boards they had come out during the drinks reception. WOW and they tasted amazing. Haha
Lorna and Anthony. Thanks so much for having me along on your wedding journey, from the postponed engagement shoot in the rain to the actually 2nd chance shoot at Seaham to the wedding day itself you have both been awesome and so down to earth. I hope to see you again the future and have paint on me.
Here are some of my favourite moments from Lorna and Anthony’s Wylam Brewery Wedding.
“We loved the relaxed ‘shoot-as-you see’ style of all of Ray’s photographs and that’s exactly why we chose him as our photographer. Ray was so reassuring all the way up up to the day and really made a lot of effort to keep everyone relaxed and having a great time. As someone not comfortable infront of the camera, I was so happily surprised that I barely noticed on the day. Our photos really show the joy of our day and I’m so grateful that Ray got us them before Christmas because watching them with the family has been so special.”
