A chic and stylish shoot at Wynyard Hall
What can I say about the wonderful Abigail and Daniel. Having only known them a short time they were immediately easy to get on with. They were both fantastic models chosen by Velvet and Linen for this Wynyard Hall workshop.
I started the day shooting detail photos of the cakes and beautiful setup from @theorchidkitchen – Absolutely smashed it out the park with the detailing. The day moved into photos of the stunning Abigail and Daniel in the Wynyard Hall chapel. The chapel is incredibly beautiful and Abigail and Daniel looked incredible in this space with beautiful black tie and a stunning dress.
Later in the day i photographed Abigail and Daniel outside the main entrance for some variety before we moved inside for some dinner. After dinner I photographed the super detailed table scape by @peartreelanestyling – see below – wow. The whole table looked incredible and the oyster candles were my absolute favourite. So cool and just looked so chic.
One of the highlights shooting portraits of Abigail and Daniel at Wynyard Hall was the champagne tower with dry ice as a feature in the glasses. Obviously not drinkable but makes a hell of a cool photograph. You can see some of them below. My YouTube channel will soon have a full workshop BTS and review video and why in my opinion it’s worth attending workshops and building a strong portfolio.
These photos were captured and created at a styled workshop by Velvet and Linen and in no way am I trying to pass it off as a real wedding BUT the imagery on this portfolio page is indicative of the type of imagery I can produce given the right setting i.e a clean bridal prep room haha, a bride and groom who wants some posing. Typically I work in a non posed fashion so these images are a good visual representation of posed portraits.
If you’re looking at getting married at Wynyard Hall and love my work, why not get in touch. Again the images on this page are predominantly more posed but check out my stories of real weddings for a more relaxed and authentic approach. If you want posed images thats also fine. Enjoy the images.
My approach page is a great place to start, you will know if we will be a great fit if you read this entire page and how i approach the different elements of a wedding day from bridal prep in the morning to the group photos to the dance floor. Once you have my approach covered it’s worth checking your date is free and I can send over availability and my pricing followed by a zoom call to chat further.
