A Military wedding at Wynyard Hall
Oh my days, I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for some time with Rebecca and Seb at Wynyard Hall. Knowing Seb was in the military I knew the first half of the wedding would be Military dress code. Always looks incredible so I was pretty excited to photograph all the dress code on show including hats, swords, medals etc.
As the day progressed Rebecca and Seb had told me they were going to change into a more ‘relaxed’ vibe in black tie suits. He said anything is more loose than the military dress code and cooler. It certainly looked thick and warm and tight around the neck. Seb went for a lush Blue black tie vibe from Clement and Church and even had custom made slippers to match the outfit from Crockett and Jones. Let’s say GQ magazine would have been proud.
Rebecca looked incredible in her Pronovias gown and Jimmy Choo’s from bridal Rogue Gallery, great choice by the way Rebecca. Pronovias always looks fabulous. Together Rebecca and Seb looked like King and Queen at Wynyard Hall, I especially love the library room and used it for the Group portraits and some of the couple portraits, see below. The room gives a real regal vibe and fitted so well with the military dress code too. Portraits on the wall from a time long ago of military offices looked very fitting.
It was awesome to spend the day with a partner in crime; Mitch on video from A Little Less Salt capturing all the great moments of the day. It was great to end the day smashing up the dance floor whilst Strictly Smoking Band provided the tunes followed by Anth from Persona Events DJ’ing between sets.
It was a brill vibe and one of my fav dance floor images is one of the military lads doing a Michael Jackson moon walk accompanied by a ball grab. What a lad. Rebecca and Seb, thank you so much for having me along on the journey.
Below are some of favourites moments from Rebecca and Seb’s Wynyard Hall wedding. Enjoy!
“Simply put – Ray is fantastic. His approach was second to none throughout the build up and during the day, resulting in some amazing images that friends and family adore. He went down an absolute storm with the wedding guests too – they couldn’t believe he was there from the very early morning to very nearly being the last man on the dancefloor! 100% recommend – if you want great images from your special day – get Ray booked!”
