My driving force on your wedding journey is to document your story, your friends and your family in a creative yet authentic way. From the time you book with me to the final delivery of your images, I am there for you and your story. Throughout the wedding day, I document beautiful moments in a very natural and unposed manner whilst adding creativity to deliver images that are unique to you and your story.

I love the feeling of leaving a wedding and feeling part of the family – there’s nothing better. It’s been said numerous times “it was like having a friend capture our day” – that’s the way it should be.

You will find me right in the action, at close quarters, you won’t see me skirting the wall with a long lens. I believe in documenting your story from within. I can usually be found laughing with your guests, often I’m the one making people laugh. Being close really helps your friends and family feel comfortable with me and allows me to document moments that I wouldn’t otherwise capture if they were uneasy.

your ceremony in the great hall at syon park

As guests cross the threshold of the grand Great Hall, they are transported back in time to an age of Graeco-Roman magnificence. From columns adorned with captivating stucco work to statues of Roman nobles that adorn their pedestals and a replica ‘The Dying Gaul’ at its heart—all these features were carefully crafted as per Adam’s vision for this palace.

The black and white marble floor tiles further complement the ceiling beams while drawing attention towards Valadier’s bronze creation placed atop elegant steps leading into the Ante Room.

the great conservatory history

In the 1800s, glasshouses were relatively compact and very similar to former orangeries. Most of them featured stone walls with immense windows and sometimes even glazed roofs.

For the design of the new Conservatory at Syon, Charles Fowler – a masterful architect renowned for his industrial building expertise was appointed. His skill in utilising metalworking technologies pioneered by craftsmen from England’s Midlands allowed him to seamlessly blend together engineering and architecture.

The results were spectacular; he produced an ornate structure with subtle details that paid homage to Palladian classicism on its facade.

Bursting with exotic plants from all corners of the world, courtesy of its multitude of greenhouses, The Great Conservatory was alive with vibrant colors in the 1880s. From South Africa’s Cape Plants to Australia’s New Holland varieties and China’s Camellias, palms and giant bamboos reached for the glass roof as if trying to touch the stars.

Unfortunately due to World War I and its consequent disruption, a period of decline soon followed.

The building was completely restored in 1986/7, although it is now entirely unheated. Despite this fact, the structure remains of great importance and has been preserved in incredible condition.
