The Mill Cottage has arrived in 2022! Situated just opposite the venue, this brand-new self-catering cottage features three spacious double bedrooms and one delightful twin room that accommodates up to 10 adults.

Not only is it filled with natural light but also boasts two separate family bathrooms as well as an en suite master bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and an enclosed garden & courtyard to enjoy pre-wedding day drinks or an evening nightcap after the wedding.

The West Mill Wedding Photography

In the summer of 2022, I was lucky enough to attend Rachel and Kalesa’s wedding at West Mill Derby. To say I was impressed would be an understatement! The industrial architecture complemented by the rustic brick walls created a captivating atmosphere that had been further enhanced by the Caribbean-like heat from the sunshine.

In addition, having four floors for each element of their special day made it seamless to transition between activities; this also proved ideal for capturing stunning West Mill Wedding Photography throughout every aspect of their magical celebration.

My driving force on your wedding journey is to document your story, your friends and your family in a creative yet authentic way. From the time you book with me to the final delivery of your images, I am there for you and your story. Throughout the wedding day, I document beautiful moments in a very natural and unposed manner whilst adding creativity to deliver images that are unique to you and your story.

I love the feeling of leaving a wedding and feeling part of the family – there’s nothing better. It’s been said numerous times “it was like having a friend capture our day” – that’s the way it should be.

You will find me right in the action, at close quarters, you won’t see me skirting the wall with a long lens. I believe in documenting your story from within. I can usually be found laughing with your guests, often I’m the one making people laugh. Being close really helps your friends and family feel comfortable with me and allows me to document moments that I wouldn’t otherwise capture if they were uneasy.

The West Mill Derby is an Exclusive Use wedding venue.

The West Mill will be solely yours from 11:00 am on your wedding day to 12:00 pm at night. Your guests and you will have absolute authority over the venue and its grounds, with a guarantee that no strangers or third parties are present.

The only two exceptions are your Event Manager as well as the Catering team who’ll be available throughout the whole duration of your special day to ensure everything runs smoothly according to plan!
